The workout routine will incorporate weightlifting, alternating body part-focused days, including leg day, arm day, core cardio, and flexibility training. By building strength and flexibility, we'll lay a solid foundation for powerful jumps, quick spins, and fluid movements on the ice. (Advanced and Beginner options available!)
July: Barre Blend Workouts for Posture, Flexibility, and Strength
In July, we will switch gears and introduce a series of BRAND NEW Barre Blend workouts. These workouts will specifically target posture, tiny movements, and enhanced flexibility. With a focus on precise body positioning and strengthening key muscle groups, we'll create a strong and centered foundation for graceful and precise skating movements. These workouts will help you achieve beautiful positions in the air, execute artistic gliding skating moves flawlessly, and improve your overall on-ice presence.
August: Embrace Primal Movements for Confidence and Mindfulness
August will bring a fresh perspective to our training regimen with a unique and exciting approach. We will explore a brand new type of training that emphasizes primal movements. This includes exercises such as bear crawls, army crawls, and ground-based movements that challenge your body in new and unconventional ways. By mastering these movements, you will gain confidence, body awareness, and an enhanced ability to maintain balance and control on the ice. This new training style will help you feel comfortable falling and greatly improve your overall spatial awareness, benefiting complex skating techniques like deep knee bends, deep edges, and intricate body positions.
